With several successful wildcard meetings in the 2013 Formula One Eastern Airways British sidecar championship Raptor racing are now turning their attention to a full scale assault on the 2014 Championship. The reigning BEMSEE champions are now looking forward to competing in all ten rounds over the forthcoming months.
Driver and team owner Tony Brown has managed to secure further excellent sponsorship from Paymundo, Wallace Interior Solutions (Dodge, hope you’re well! – SE) and the services of the 2012 World Champion sidecar passenger Ashley Hawes for the full season to take the place of regular passenger Ryan Anderson. Ryan is still recovering from his injuries sustained at Assen in September 2013. Ashley stepped in for Ryan at the last two rounds in 2013. It was obvious from the start that his class and experience would complement Tony’s style of driving. Ashley and his partner Emma have even brought a new supporter to the team in the form of baby Freddie who was born on Christmas Eve.
With this year’s championship promising to be the most open and exciting for years the team feel that they can make a real impression and be amongst the top runners.
